Stan Thompson:

Grove Farm has been Stan's family home since childhood and is an enchanting place to work, live and play.

Primarily a sheep farm, Grove Farm also grow a small amount of cereal and free range chickens provide us and our guests with fresh eggs each day. One of the many joys of living in the countryside.

Stan is also highly creative, he's both an accomplished artist and musician.

Stan have three sons. Our eldest is carrying on the family tradition as a farmer. Our middle son has a degree in Fine Art and he is a drawing tutor on one of our weekend courses.
Our youngest son is a musician and was runner up in the Radio Two young Musician Award a few years ago.

Stan has three grandchildren who adore coming to the farm.

After 30 years I still marvel at the beauty of the area in which I live. I love the views from the house and know how fortunate I am to live here.

Stan play and sing Bluegrass Music and plays a mean Banjo!

Running our farm and Bed and Breakfast keeps us pretty busy, but we love sharing the farm. So do come and join us at Grove Farm Bed and Breakfast.
